Gran Turismo Experience is an offline immersive event inspired by the legendary racing game Gran Turismo, designed to bring the excitement of motorsports to real life. The event combines high-performance driving simulators, VR experiences, merchandise, and multi-sensory installations, turning ICE BSD into a full-scale motorsport arena for gamers and car lovers.
Target Audience
The event targets racing game fans, e-sports enthusiasts, car communities, and the general public aged 18–35 who enjoy gaming, real-life driving simulators, and interactive events. The audience values high-energy visuals, competitive experiences, and brand merchandise.
Findings & Problem Statement
Gran Turismo is one of the world’s most iconic racing franchises, but it lacks offline engagement in Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia. Most fans only experience the game through consoles at home. To increase brand impact, community connection, and user excitement, an offline experiential event was needed—one that merges the game’s realism with real-world energy and emotional immersion.
Full Multi-Sensory Experience
The event engaged all five senses through themed lighting, authentic racing sounds, realistic driving setups, automotive scents, and race-inspired snacks to create an unforgettable atmosphere.
Immersive Offline Event Design
The event was planned to replicate the excitement of racing in real life, allowing fans to interact physically with the game’s world through engaging experiences.
Interactive VR & Simulator Zones
Each area offered different levels of immersion, from casual play to high-end racing simulations, catering to both gamers and motorsport fans.
